VEON and Amdocs Sign 10-Year AI Modernization Deal

VEON Ltd. and Amdocs entered a 10-year strategic agreement on October 7, 2026, to modernize the digital operator's core technology operations. Under the terms of the deal, Amdocs will manage VEON's IT operations across Eurasia to ensure long-term cost predictability.

The partnership centers on the integration of intellectual property from QazCode, a VEON group company, into Amdocs' agentic operating system (aOS). This telco-specific AI system is designed to transform customer experiences and digital services by advancing the company's evolution toward intelligent agentic autonomy.

CEO Kaan Terzioğlu stated that digital and AI services already contribute approximately 27% of VEON's group revenue. The agreement also expands the operational footprint of Amdocs in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and the wider Eurasia region.
