BJP President Nitin Nabin Launches Mission Jharkhand in Ranchi

BJP President Nitin Nabin launched Mission Jharkhand during a state working committee meeting to strengthen grassroots mobilization for the 2029 elections.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin launched Mission Jharkhand during a three-day visit to the state that began on October 23, 2026. After arriving in Ranchi, Nabin led the inaugural session of the Jharkhand BJP State Working Committee meeting on October 24 to provide guidance on organizational restructuring and political strategy for the 2029 Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.

During his address, Nabin urged party workers to expand the organization's presence from the panchayat level to Parliament, stating that "the saffron flag flies from the panchayat level to Parliament." He expressed confidence that the party could replicate its organizational success in Jharkhand as it had in West Bengal. Nabin praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership while accusing Rahul Gandhi and the Indian National Congress of acting as a "toolkit" for foreign forces and undermining constitutional institutions.

The visit also served as a coordination point for the Giridih assembly by-election, triggered by the death of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha MLA Sudviya Kumar. Prior to Nabin's arrival, Jharkhand BJP State President Aditya Sahu held review meetings with state office-bearers to finalize organizational coordination for the visit.
