JD Vance Rallies for Republicans in Kansas and Montana

Vice President JD Vance conducted a multi-state campaign tour on Monday, October 26, holding rallies in Montana and Kansas to energize the Republican base ahead of the November 3 election.

In Belgrade, Montana, Vance spoke at the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport, focusing on the U.S. Senate race involving Republican Kurt Alme and the western Montana congressional contest between Republican Aaron Flint and Democrat Sam Forstag. The event featured appearances by Governor Greg Gianforte, Congressman Ryan Zinke, and Senators Steve Daines and Tim Sheehy. This visit followed recent stops in the state by President Donald Trump in Kalispell and House Speaker Mike Johnson in Bozeman.

Vance also traveled to Topeka, Kansas, for a 4 p.m. rally at HME Inc-Haas Group to support Republican U.S. Senator Roger Marshall. Marshall is facing a competitive challenge from Democratic candidate Adam Hamilton in a race that polls suggest is tighter than usual for the historically Republican stronghold. The visit occurred one week after President Donald Trump campaigned in Park City and marked Vance's second trip to Kansas in two months.

Local officials in Montana reported increased security coordination and minor travel disruptions around the Belgrade airport during the Vice President's visit.
