Pinterest CFO Julia Donnelly to Step Down October 30
Pinterest announced Chief Financial Officer Julia Donnelly will leave the company on October 30 to join a private, early-stage firm.
Pinterest announced that Chief Financial Officer Julia Donnelly will step down from her position on October 30 to join a private, early-stage company. Vikram Naidu, the vice president of finance and business operations, will serve as the principal financial officer in the interim while the company conducts an external search for a permanent replacement.
CEO Bill Ready credited Donnelly with supporting 11 consecutive quarters of double-digit revenue growth and expanding margins during her tenure, which began in 2023. Under her leadership, the company acquired the connected-TV advertising platform tvScientific and established a $4 billion cloud-services partnership with Amazon Web Services.
This leadership change follows a recent forecast from Pinterest indicating slower third-quarter revenue growth. The company attributed the slowdown to intense digital advertising competition from platforms such as Meta's Instagram.
