Aston Martin Unveils Luxury-Focused 2027 DBX GT SUV

Aston Martin revealed the DBX GT, a luxury SUV variant prioritizing ride comfort and cabin refinement over the aggressive performance of the DBX S.

Aston Martin has unveiled the 2027 DBX GT, an ultra-luxury variant of its performance SUV designed to prioritize ride comfort and cabin refinement. Positioned alongside the performance-oriented DBX S, the GT replaces the discontinued DBX 707. The vehicle retains a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine and a nine-speed automatic gearbox, though reports on performance vary slightly, with figures citing between 717 and 727 horsepower and top speeds between 191 and 193 mph.

Mechanical updates focus on a smoother driving experience through revised suspension calibration with new internal damper valves, recalibrated gearbox mapping, and additional dampers between the body and rear subframe. The interior features memory-foam seating, semi-aniline leather, deep-pile carpeting, and increased sound-deadening materials, which the company claims results in a 13% improvement in its Articulation Index.

Visually, the DBX GT adopts a more discreet appearance featuring a double-vaned metal grille, body-colored bumpers, sills, and diffusers, and 22-inch Satin Titanium wheels. Chief Technology Officer Ian Hoban stated that the challenge was achieving improvements in comfort and refinement while maintaining the performance reserves of the DBX S.

Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026 across global markets, with an anticipated starting price of approximately $290,000.
