Global Ceremonies Mark 25th Anniversary of September 11 Attacks

Various ceremonies took place to mark the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, focusing on the enduring legacy of courage and the ongoing impact of terrorism.

In Jerusalem, Mike Huckabee, the U.S. Ambassador to Israel, attended a ceremony on September 9 at the 9/11 Living Memorial in the Arazim Valley. Organized with the Jewish National Fund, the event highlighted the U.S.-Israel alliance and the long-term health challenges faced by first responders.

In the United States, New Buffalo Middle School in Michigan held a commemoration on its football field. The event featured a Memorial Stair Climb representing the 110 floors of the World Trade Center. Denise Churchill, a survivor who worked in Manhattan's financial district during the attacks, shared her personal account with students and local officials.
