Salvatore Ferragamo Returns to Profit in First Half of 2026

Salvatore Ferragamo reported a net profit of 1.5 million euros for the first half of 2026, rebounding from a 16 million euro loss the previous year.

Salvatore Ferragamo returned to profitability in the first half of 2026, posting a net profit of 1.5 million euros. This marks a significant recovery from the adjusted loss of 16 million euros reported during the same period in 2025.

Second-quarter results showed group revenue reaching 259 million euros, a 2.4 percent increase year-on-year when adjusted for foreign exchange. Sales grew 4.6 percent at constant currencies, driven largely by direct-to-customer sales, which rose 6.6 percent between April and June. Core profit increased nearly 25 percent to 90 million euros, a gain the company attributes to cost control measures.

Despite the recovery, board member Ernesto Greco reported a slowdown in sales growth during July. He attributed this dip to a shortened summer discount period and declining demand in the United States. The luxury brand is currently operating without a permanent chief executive following the departure of Marco Gobbetti, with leadership provided by Chairman Leonardo Ferragamo and an advisory committee.
