Euronext Nominates David Knibbe as Next CEO
Euronext N.V. nominated David Knibbe to succeed Stéphane Boujnah as CEO and Chairman of the Managing Board in May 2027.
The Supervisory Board of Euronext N.V. intends to nominate David Knibbe as the company's next Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Managing Board. The appointment is scheduled to take effect during the Annual General Meeting on May 20, 2027.
Knibbe will succeed Stéphane Boujnah, who has decided to step down from his leadership role in May 2027. Knibbe has served as the CEO of NN Group N.V. since 2019.
Piero Novelli, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, endorsed the nomination by noting that Knibbe brings a track record of value creation in highly regulated industries. Novelli stated that Knibbe's experience in technology transformation and successful integrations will be valuable as the company executes its strategy and invests in future growth.
