Webull Integrates AI Assistants for Natural-Language Trading
Webull launched an Agentic Trading Platform allowing customers to execute trades and manage accounts using AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude.
Webull has introduced an Agentic Trading Platform and Model Context Protocol server that enables customers to connect AI assistants, including ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok, to their brokerage accounts. This integration allows users to execute trades, access market data, and manage their accounts through natural-language commands.
Anthony Denier, Webull's U.S. CEO, is coordinating with regulators to establish a clear distinction between AI agents that carry out specific customer instructions and those that make independent investment decisions. To manage the risks associated with automated trading, the company implemented guardrails such as symbol restrictions, order size caps, and mandatory order previews.
Denier stated that while natural language represents the next step in the progression from phone calls and mobile apps, the underlying responsibility for any investment decision remains with the investor.
