In technology, demand is rising for cybersecurity specialists, data analysts, and software developers, with an expected 268,000 new positions. Healthcare is projected to see the largest expansion, particularly for personal care aides and home health aides, with over 739,000 new jobs anticipated by 2034.

Green energy roles, including solar photovoltaic installers and wind turbine technicians, are also expanding. As automation renders traditional four-year degrees less indicative of professional competence, employers are increasingly prioritizing certifications, professional portfolios, and the ability to solve problems using AI-integrated tools.
