Samsung Raises US Prices for Galaxy Phones and Tablets
Samsung Electronics increased prices for various Galaxy tablets and high-storage smartphone configurations in the United States.
Samsung Electronics implemented price increases across a wide range of its mobile devices and tablets in the United States on April 15, 2026. The adjustments primarily target the tablet lineup and premium smartphone configurations, while the latest Galaxy S26 series remains unaffected.
Price hikes for smartphones specifically impact high-storage configurations of the Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy S25 FE, and Galaxy S25 Edge, though base models for the Z Flip 7 and S25 FE remain unchanged. The tablet lineup saw across-the-board increases across the flagship S series, Fan Edition, and budget A series. The Galaxy Tab S11 starting price rose by $100, from $799.99 to $899.99, while the 1TB Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra model increased by $280 to $1,899.99. Mid-range devices, including the Galaxy Tab A11 Plus and Tab S10 FE, saw increases between $50 and $120.
Samsung has not provided an official explanation for the price changes. Analysts suggest the increases may be driven by the rising cost of memory required for AI features or shifting supply chain costs as the company pursues a strategic focus on high-margin products.
