Epic Games Returns Fortnite to Apple App Store in Australia

Epic Games will return Fortnite to the Apple App Store in Australia on Thursday, October 23, 2026. The relaunch follows a federal court ruling that found Apple violated competition law and ordered the company to open its iOS operating system.

Apple disagreed with the court's findings and intends to challenge the decision. A company spokesperson stated that Apple will request a stay and appeal the outcome to protect its intellectual property and maintain the security of the App Store experience for consumers and developers.
