Micron Technology Reports Record $41.5 Billion Quarterly Revenue

Micron Technology reported fiscal third-quarter revenue of $41.5 billion, driven by AI data center demand, despite a decline in share price.

Micron Technology reported fiscal third-quarter 2026 revenue of $41.5 billion, significantly exceeding its own guidance of $33.5 billion. The company attributed this growth primarily to artificial intelligence data centers, noting that cloud memory and core data center units combined for more than half of total sales.

Looking forward, the company provided a revenue guide of $50 billion for the fiscal fourth quarter. Micron expects a non-GAAP earnings guide of $31.00 per share and a gross margin of approximately 86%.

Despite the record financial results, the company's share price has fallen approximately 24% from its 52-week high of $1,255 to around $950. Market analysts suggest this decline reflects investor skepticism that current profits represent a cyclical peak rather than sustainable growth. CEO Sanjay Mehrotra stated that multi-year Strategic Customer Agreements are intended to enhance the predictability and durability of the company's financial performance.
