Oman Duty Free and CDFI Sign Retail Partnership

Oman Duty Free and China Duty Free International signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance travel retail operations and boost Omani tourism.

Oman Duty Free and China Duty Free International (CDFI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen cooperation in travel retail and duty-free markets. The agreement was signed by Oman Duty Free CEO Sayyid Nasr bin Badr Al Busaidi and CDFI Managing Manager Dou Xiaoqiong during a state visit to China by Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.

The partnership focuses on improving business operations and attracting international brands to Oman. The two organizations will exchange expertise regarding supply chains, product management, and store operations to modernize the retail experience.

Beyond retail operations, the collaboration seeks to leverage investment interest from China Tourism Group, the parent company of CDFI. This strategic alignment aims to boost the tourism sector in Oman and increase the number of Chinese visitors to the country.
