ViewSonic Launches XG2738-2K-OLED Gaming Monitor
ViewSonic Corp. released the XG2738-2K-OLED gaming monitor featuring QD-OLED technology, a 240Hz refresh rate, and specialized burn-in protection tools.
ViewSonic Corp. launched the XG2738-2K-OLED, a 27-inch gaming monitor utilizing Quantum Dot-OLED (QD-OLED) technology with 2K QHD resolution. Designed for competitive gaming, the hardware features a 240Hz refresh rate and a 0.03ms GTG response time.
The monitor includes an Esports Mode that enables users to adjust the viewable screen size to 24.5 inches. To ensure smooth visuals, the device is compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium. The display supports HDR10 and 10-bit true color with 98% DCI-P3 coverage.
To address potential image retention and burn-in, ViewSonic integrated the OLED Care suite. This system provides automatic protections, including OLED Screen Movement and Static Icon Detection, as well as a user-activated OLED Image Cleaning function.
Company leadership emphasized the product's alignment with market demands. Business Line Director Jeff Muto highlighted the combination of performance and visual excellence, while Asia Pacific General Manager Eric Wei noted that players in the Asia Pacific region are increasingly seeking more immersive and responsive experiences.
