PC Jeweller Reports Profit Surge and Achieves Debt-Free Status
PC Jeweller Ltd reported a 58% profit increase and became debt-free, coinciding with a ₹175 crore investment from Aditya Kumar Halwasiya.
PC Jeweller Ltd reported a 58% increase in consolidated net profit to ₹330.66 crore for the second quarter of the 2026-27 fiscal year. The company attributed the growth to a 28% rise in total income, which reached ₹1,054.47 crore, and the recovery of approximately ₹142 crore in long-pending export receivables.
A major financial milestone occurred on September 25, 2026, when the company achieved debt-free status after repaying all outstanding dues to 14 consortium banks ahead of schedule. Following these results, Aditya Kumar Halwasiya invested approximately ₹175 crore in the company through two equity transactions on October 15 and October 22, 2026.
Strategically, the company plans to open up to 100 large-format showrooms across Tier I, II, and III cities within the next 12-18 months. To penetrate semi-urban and rural markets, PC Jeweller signed agreements with the National Skill Development Corporation and the Government of Uttar Pradesh to develop a micro-franchise network. The company is also launching a brand for younger buyers focused on lightweight and lab-grown diamonds, while its subsidiary, PCJ Mining SARL, has commenced gold mining operations in Chad for backward integration.
