Elbit Systems Wins $200 Million Asia-Pacific Defense Contract

Elbit Systems secured contracts valued at approximately $200 million from an unnamed country in the Asia-Pacific region to provide airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) and training solutions. The agreement spans up to five years and focuses on enhancing operational readiness and mission effectiveness for the customer.

The contract includes the supply of SPECTRO 12 multispectral ISR and targeting payloads for helicopter integration. These systems feature laser designators for long-range target detection and AI-powered image processing. Elbit Systems will also provide advanced Head-Up Display (HUD) systems and follow-on support for airborne live training systems used in mission debriefing and combat simulation.

CEO Bezhalel Machlis stated that the company is providing innovative capabilities to enhance situational awareness and operational readiness across a broad spectrum of airborne missions.
