Quest Software Achieves FedRAMP High Certification for Identity Products

Quest Software announced on July 8, 2026, that its Quest Identity Defense and Quest Identity Recovery for Entra ID products achieved Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) High authorized certification. The solutions are available through Microsoft Azure Government, making Quest the only purpose-built identity threat detection and response provider for hybrid Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID to offer a FedRAMP High authorized SaaS solution.

This certification enables federal agencies, defense contractors, and highly regulated sectors—such as energy, healthcare, and financial services—to protect and recover identity control planes with government-grade assurance. The initiative specifically targets the increasing prevalence of ransomware and AI-driven threats that exploit the identity layer as a primary attack surface.
