APC Secretary Accuses Governor Adeleke of Embezzling Osun Funds

National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress Ajibola Basiru accused Governor Ademola Adeleke of hindering the progress of Osun State during a party rally in Osogbo. Basiru alleged that the Adeleke administration has focused on embezzling state funds rather than improving public services, specifically citing failures in education, electricity, and road infrastructure.

Basiru claimed that the state has experienced setbacks despite increased federal allocations under President Bola Tinubu. He specifically highlighted the failure to employ necessary teachers and the lack of critical road construction within Osogbo.

During the event, Basiru promoted the APC candidate for the upcoming Saturday election, asserting that the opposition lacks the numeric strength to win. He argued that the APC candidate possesses the governance experience required to lead the state.
