Adobe Acquires Indian Marketing Startup Rilo

Adobe acquired India-based marketing intelligence startup Rilo to integrate automated marketing workflows and competitor intelligence into its customer experience suite.

Adobe acquired Rilo, an India-based marketing intelligence startup, to integrate technology for automating marketing workflows into its customer experience and marketing suite. The deal includes the acquisition of Rilo's six-member team and specific licensing agreements, though financial terms were not disclosed.

Founded in 2025 by Georgi Boby and Dhruv Jaglan, Rilo previously raised $1 million from investors including Peak XV, DeVC, and Day Zero Ventures at a $10 million valuation. The startup's technology focuses on competitor intelligence, content repurposing, and sales call analysis. Following the acquisition, Rilo will shut down its operations and cease availability to its existing customers.

This represents Adobe's second acquisition in India, following its $1.9 billion purchase of Semrush last year. The company is expanding its capabilities to better compete with rivals such as Canva, Google, and Meta.
