Khazna Data Centers Plans 1GW Hyperscale Capacity by 2030

Khazna Data Centers will add over 1GW of hyperscale capacity by 2030 across the UAE and international markets to support AI infrastructure.

Khazna Data Centers announced plans at the Gitex Global 2025 conference in Dubai to add more than 1GW of hyperscale capacity by 2030. The expansion includes over 400MW of new capacity in international markets, specifically targeting Saudi Arabia and Italy, while continuing developments in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Ajman. The company is also executing projects in France and exploring further opportunities in Turkey and Southeast Asia.

A central element of this growth is the Stargate project, which seeks an ultimate target of five gigawatts of AI capacity across all active markets. To address the high energy demands of AI-native infrastructure, the company is incorporating nuclear power and solar projects to increase its use of carbon-free electricity.

This initiative aligns with the United Arab Emirates' national objective to become a global leader in AI infrastructure. As part of this ecosystem, Khazna is partnering with Microsoft to develop AI use cases and train technical talent.
