Affle International to Acquire Perion Network for $420 Million
Affle International signed a definitive agreement to acquire Israeli ad-tech firm Perion Network for $420 million to expand its reach in developed markets.
Affle International signed a definitive agreement to acquire Israeli ad-tech firm Perion Network for $420 million. The Indian digital advertising company will pay $11.70 per share, a 34.5% premium over the previous Friday's closing price. The transaction is expected to close in early 2027, at which point Perion will be delisted from the Nasdaq and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
Perion's valuation had fallen 82% since April 2023. This decline resulted from changes to Microsoft's Bing search advertising pricing and the removal of several publishers from the Microsoft distribution network.
Affle intends to combine its mobile marketing leadership with Perion's capabilities in Retail Media, Connected TV, and Digital Out-of-Home channels. Chairperson and managing director Anuj Khanna Sohum stated the move strengthens the company's business across developed markets and advances its 10X decadal growth vision. Perion CEO Tal Jacobson described the agreement as an important milestone for the company.
