New Look Appoints Lynda Petherick as New CEO

The fashion retailer New Look appointed Lynda Petherick as its new Chief Executive Officer. Petherick previously served as the company's chief operating officer and chief information officer, roles in which she led operational improvements and digital transformation. She succeeds Helen Connolly, who will stay with the organization until September 2026 to manage the leadership transition.

This appointment follows a period of strong financial performance. New Look reported that its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) more than doubled to £36.6 million for the 2026 financial year. The company credited this growth to cost controls, tighter margin management, and digital initiatives, noting that online sales now represent approximately 40% of total group revenue.
