Solink Raises Over $100 Million for AI Vision Intelligence
Solink raised more than $100 million in funding led by Vertu Capital to expand its AI-driven business intelligence platform for physical operations.
AI Vision Intelligence company Solink raised more than $100 million in new funding to expand its product roadmap and global physical business operations. The funding round was led by Toronto-based private equity firm Vertu Capital, with material participation from existing investor Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives and new investors Golub Growth and Comcast Ventures.
Solink's platform converts existing security cameras in warehouses, restaurants, and retail stores into real-time business intelligence. The software uses artificial intelligence to extract data on theft, service speed, and safety issues to help businesses reduce loss and drive revenue. The company currently manages approximately 500,000 cameras across 35,000 customer locations in 65 countries.
CEO Mike Matta stated the capital will fund an aggressive AI roadmap to help clients transition digital data insights into the physical world. Matta described the current era as a "watershed moment" for how physical businesses operate, aiming to bring the richness of digital data into physical environments.
