Shoals Technologies and TerraFlow Energy Partner for Grid Storage
Shoals Technologies Group and TerraFlow Energy signed a memorandum of understanding to develop grid-scale long-duration energy storage infrastructure.
Shoals Technologies Group, Inc. and TerraFlow Energy signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding to develop grid-scale, long-duration energy storage infrastructure. The partnership focuses on integrating TerraFlow's vanadium flow battery systems into industrial, utility, and AI data center markets to improve grid reliability and manage rising electricity demands.
Under the agreement, Shoals will provide power distribution solutions, specifically its AirLink and PowerHub technologies, to support TerraFlow's goal of deploying up to 5 GW of energy storage annually. The two companies also plan to showcase Shoals' data center power distribution solutions at TerraFlow's customer demonstration facilities.
