Baloch National Movement Paank Condemns Extrajudicial Killings in Balochistan

The Baloch National Movement Paank condemned a systemic pattern of enforced disappearances, custodial torture, and extrajudicial killings targeting civilians in Balochistan, Pakistan. The organization reported four specific cases of deaths resulting from secret detentions and judicial bypass.

Inayat Ullah was killed on August 4, 2026, in Khuzdar. Salman Bangulzai disappeared shortly after Eid, and his body was recovered on July 31. Attahullah Baloch disappeared on March 24 and was killed on June 21. Haibatan disappeared on July 9 and was later found dead on the Hub-Sakran Road in Lasbela.

Paank alleges these individuals were targeted by state-backed death squads or personnel from the Inter-Services Intelligence, the Counter Terrorism Department, and Military Intelligence. The organization characterizes these incidents as grave violations of human rights and a broader strategy of using secret detention against the Baloch population.
