First Graphene Partners With Aeropreg for Carbon Fibre Development
First Graphene Limited signed a three-year agreement with Turkish manufacturer Aeropreg to develop and commercialize graphene-enhanced carbon fibre prepreg for high-value industries.
First Graphene Limited entered into a three-year Development and Commercialisation Agreement with Aeropreg, a Turkish prepreg manufacturer, to create graphene-enhanced carbon fibre prepreg. The partnership integrates First Graphene's PureGRAPH graphene and proprietary epoxy concentrates with Aeropreg's resin development and manufacturing infrastructure.
The program focuses on achieving controlled graphene loading and validating the strength and durability of the resulting material. Once validated, First Graphene plans to use Aeropreg's established sales channels to enter the aerospace, automotive, marine, and sporting goods sectors.
This collaboration is part of a broader strategy to penetrate the global carbon fibre reinforced plastics market, which is projected to reach US$43.7 billion by 2033. The move follows First Graphene's recent expansion into the North American market through the acquisition of MITO Materials.
