Russian Missile Strike Kills One in Kyiv Region

A Russian ballistic missile strike hit the Boryspil district of the Kyiv region on Saturday, August 22, 2026. Tymur Tkachenko, Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, reported that the attack killed one person and injured five others.

The strike caused significant infrastructure damage across the area. Impacted sites included a warehouse, a parking lot, a gas station, a private residence, and several vehicles.
