Apple Releases Third iOS 27.2 Developer Beta

Apple released the third developer beta of iOS 27.2 for iPhone on October 5, 2026. This update follows the general release of iOS 27 on September 14 and bypasses iOS 27.1, which is a specialized release dedicated to the foldable iPhone Duo.

The iOS 27.2 beta introduces a redesigned Health app, a feature previously announced at the iPhone 18 Pro event, and adds a dual capture mode to Group FaceTime. Siri AI language support has expanded to include French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Other updates include the integration of Apple TV app profiles on iPhone and interface changes to the Apple Podcasts and Apple Music apps. The company previously released the first public beta of iOS 27.2 last month and launched the Xcode 27.1 beta on September 18 to support development for the iPhone Duo.
