Coatue Management Holds $3.2 Billion Stake in SpaceX

Coatue Management, a hedge fund led by billionaire Philippe Laffont, holds a $3.2 billion stake in Space Exploration Technologies Corp. as of June 30. The investment represents approximately 6.5% of the fund's total holdings and was established during an early investment round prior to the company's initial public offering.

SpaceX shares have recently settled around the $135 range following its IPO. Coatue Management's position remains subject to a staggered lockup period that will conclude over the following year.

Philippe Laffont maintains a long-term conviction in the investment. He stated his belief that the space and artificial intelligence industry will eventually produce a $10 trillion company.
