Nokia signed a definitive agreement to sell its Enterprise Campus Edge business to AURELIUS to focus resources on high-value long-term growth areas.
Nokia signed a definitive agreement to sell its Enterprise Campus Edge (ECE) business to the investment firm AURELIUS. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2027 and is part of a broader strategy to sharpen the company's portfolio by directing capital toward areas of greatest long-term value.
ECE currently serves nearly 900 global customers in the mining, logistics, and manufacturing sectors, providing leadership in private wireless and industrial edge solutions. Under the new ownership, ECE will operate as a standalone business. AURELIUS intends to expand the portfolio into AI-powered industrial automation to help customers accelerate the digitalization of their operations.
The agreement includes the expected transfer of ECE employees to AURELIUS, pending regulatory approvals and consultation processes. Management has indicated that the priority during this transition is to maintain business growth and ensure continuity for existing employees and customers.
