Watford and Wandsworth Councils Review Diverse Planning Applications
Watford Borough Council and Wandsworth Council are processing various residential and commercial development requests, including student housing and sports facilities.
The Watford Borough Council and Wandsworth Council are reviewing a series of planning applications for residential and commercial developments across their respective jurisdictions.
In Watford, the proposals focus on small-scale residential projects. These include the construction of a single dwelling at 27 Watford Heath, home improvements at 159 Horseshoe Lane, and tree felling at 169 Hempstead Road.
In Wandsworth, the applications are more varied in scale and purpose. Lambeth College has requested a screening opinion for an Environmental Impact Assessment to redevelop its Vauxhall Centre, which would add a community café hub and purpose-built student accommodation. The Roehampton Club is seeking permission to install a two-storey indoor golf centre and padel courts.
Other Wandsworth requests include the conversion of a Grade II listed chapel at Diprose Lodge into residential housing, alongside various residential extensions and tree maintenance works throughout the borough.
