Flipkart-Owned Super.money Launches splitStore Shopping Feature
Super.money launched splitStore, an online shopping platform integrating peer-to-peer payments and interest-free installments for underserved consumers and Gen Z.
Super.money, a payments application owned by Flipkart, launched an online shopping feature called splitStore on Thursday. The platform enables users to purchase electronics, fashion, and home goods using the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) or peer-to-peer payments, with a specific focus on interest-free installments.
The initiative targets Gen Z and consumers who are new to credit or underserved by traditional financial institutions. By combining payments, lending, and shopping within a single interface, the service provides the Flipkart Group with a secondary sales channel independent of its primary e-commerce platform. The marketplace also allows brands to list products directly and manage their own deliveries.
The service is currently available to a limited user group and will be rolled out broadly over time. Chief Executive Officer Prakash Sikaria noted that the company is leveraging Flipkart infrastructure and UPI scale to make the integration work.
