Bahrain Hosts Inaugural Made in GCC 2026 Forum
Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa opened the Made in GCC 2026 Forum to promote industrial integration and sustainable development across the Gulf.
The inaugural Made in GCC 2026 Forum and Exhibition opened on October 6 at Exhibition World Bahrain. Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, inaugurated the three-day event, which is jointly organized by the GCC General Secretariat and Bahrain's Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
Operating under the theme Toward a More Integrated, Competitive, and Future-Ready Gulf Industrial Economy, the forum seeks to attract high-value investments and expand the global reach of Gulf-manufactured products. The event includes an exhibition of smart manufacturing technologies and panel discussions on the intersection of industry and energy, featuring ministers from Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
Officials at the forum emphasized that industrial integration is a critical pillar for economic diversification and resilience against global economic challenges. The event serves as a strategic platform for member states to exchange expertise and accelerate the adoption of advanced technologies to enhance the competitiveness of the regional industrial sector.
