GE Vernova Projects Revenue Growth Driven by AI Data Centers

GE Vernova expects revenue to grow up to 22% in 2026 as AI and cloud data centers drive massive demand for power and electrification.

GE Vernova is experiencing rapid financial expansion fueled by the electricity requirements of cloud and AI data centers. The company reported dramatic organic order growth in the first half of 2026, with its Power segment increasing by 99% and its Electrification segment growing by 76%.

This surge in demand has offset ongoing supply chain and execution challenges within the company's Wind business. By the end of the second quarter of 2026, the company's total backlog reached $176.3 billion.

For the full year 2026, the company projects revenue growth between 20% and 22%. It expects free cash flow to more than triple, reaching an estimated $11.5 billion to $12.5 billion. Management attributes this growth to increased pricing power for gas turbines, an expansion in high-margin services, and internal cost-cutting measures within the Wind division.
