Zurich Insurance Adopts WTW Radar for Global Pricing

Zurich Insurance Company signed a global agreement to deploy Willis Towers Watson's Radar software across its worldwide retail lines to enhance pricing and risk assessment.

Zurich Insurance Company signed a global agreement to deploy Willis Towers Watson (WTW) Radar rating and analytics software across its worldwide retail lines. The deal expands an existing partnership in which Zurich previously used Radar in several individual country markets.

The Radar platform provides end-to-end capabilities for pricing, underwriting, and claims. It utilizes AI-based analytics and real-time risk assessment to increase pricing sophistication and improve risk selection. This deployment is part of WTW's Insurance Consulting and Technology business, which currently serves more than 500 insurers globally.

The expansion follows a series of recent WTW initiatives, including the June acquisition of the cryptocurrency insurance platform Redefind and the July launch of the KwantSure embedded digital insurance program.
