AlphaSense Launches Deep Research AI for Financial Analysis

Financial intelligence company AlphaSense released a generative AI tool called Deep Research on June 10, 2025. The tool automates the creation of market insights and investment-grade briefings by analyzing more than 500 million business and financial documents. It is designed to perform complex research tasks in minutes that typically require days or weeks for human analysts to complete.

AlphaSense CEO Jack Kokko stated that the tool operates at superhuman speed but is intended to increase the productivity of Wall Street professionals rather than replace them. The company currently serves over 5,000 clients, including a majority of the S&P 100.

The launch follows a broader trend of generative AI integration across the financial sector. Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management provided employees with a generative AI assistant in January, and other firms including JPMorgan Chase and Morgan Stanley are integrating similar assistants. This adoption occurs amid warnings from industry leaders, such as Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, who suggested that AI could eliminate up to half of entry-level office jobs.
