Yucca Growth Waives Air Permit Deadline for Oracle Data Center

Yucca Growth Infrastructure LLC waived a November 23 deadline for a decision on a critical air permit required for the construction of power generation infrastructure in New Mexico. The waiver allows state environmental regulators more time to review the application, preventing an automatic denial of the permit.

The infrastructure is being developed to support Project Jupiter, a large-scale data center that Oracle Corp. is building for OpenAI. The air permit is a necessary regulatory step to establish the power generation capabilities needed to operate the facility.
