TrendAI Joins Anthropic Project Glasswing to Secure Software

TrendAI, the enterprise AI security unit of Trend Micro Incorporated, has joined Project Glasswing to help organizations identify and address vulnerabilities in critical software systems. The initiative is led by Anthropic and provides participants with access to the Claude Mythos Preview model.

Under the program, TrendAI will use the AI model to analyze software code, allowing threat intelligence researchers to accelerate the discovery of vulnerabilities. This collaboration enables the team to coordinate disclosures and implement prioritized remediation through vulnerability shielding and virtual patching.

Rachel Jin, the Chief Platform and Business Officer and Head of TrendAI, stated that the collaboration allows the company to explore how advanced AI can improve the resilience of systems customers rely on daily. The partnership aims to strengthen the broader digital ecosystem by enhancing the security of critical software infrastructure.
