Banco Bradesco Reports 14.6% Third-Quarter Profit Increase

Banco Bradesco reported a third-quarter recurring net profit of 7.11 billion reais, meeting analyst expectations despite rising loan delinquency rates.

Banco Bradesco reported a 14.6% increase in recurring net profit for the third quarter, totaling 7.11 billion reais ($1.41 billion). The results for the July-September period met analyst expectations, supported by a loan book that grew 11.1% to 1.15 trillion reais.

Financial stability came despite a challenging macroeconomic environment in Brazil. The bank saw its over-90-day delinquency ratio rise to 4.6% from 4.1%, leading to a 24.3% year-over-year increase in provisions for loan losses, which reached 10.6 billion reais.

CEO Marcelo Noronha stated that non-credit revenues and cost control offset slower growth in credit-related revenue. The lender maintained its 2026 projections and announced a renewed share buyback program for up to 106.6 million shares beginning in November.
