Russian Drone Strike Hits Odesa Residential High-Rise
Russian forces struck a residential building in Odesa with a jet-powered Shahed drone, injuring four people and destroying a 12th-floor apartment.
The Military of Russia struck a residential high-rise building in Odesa on Monday afternoon using a jet-powered Shahed drone. The attack occurred around 3 p.m., destroying an apartment on the 12th floor and causing extensive damage to the building's facade, windows, and balconies from the first to the 11th floors. The blast also triggered a fire within the structure.
Four people were injured in the strike. A 56-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman were hospitalized, while two young women, aged 17 and 18, received medical treatment at the scene. Local military administration officials confirmed that emergency operations to address the aftermath are ongoing.
