CrowdStrike to Acquire Fiddler AI for Agent Observability
CrowdStrike signed a definitive agreement to acquire Fiddler AI to integrate AI agent observability and explainability into its Falcon platform.
CrowdStrike signed a definitive agreement to acquire Fiddler AI, a company specializing in AI agent observability and explainability. The acquisition will integrate Fiddler's technology into the Falcon platform through a new offering called Falcon Observe, which is expected to be generally available in Q4 FY27.
Falcon Observe will allow enterprises to evaluate AI agents before deployment, trace reasoning paths, and detect hallucinations or behavioral drift in production. CEO George Kurtz described Fiddler as a "flight recorder for every agent," noting that the tool provides the auditable evidence required by boards and regulators to explain AI actions.
The transaction will be paid predominantly in cash, with a portion in stock subject to vesting conditions. It is expected to close during the fourth quarter of CrowdStrike's FY27. Fiddler AI CEO Krishna Gade stated that joining the company allows their technology to scale on a leading security platform, providing enterprises the confidence to use agents in critical operations.
