General Dynamics Elects Danny Deep as Next CEO

General Dynamics announced that its board of directors elected Danny Deep to serve as chief executive officer starting January 1, 2027. Deep, who has been with the company for 25 years, currently serves as president and will succeed Phebe Novakovic.

Novakovic has led the company as CEO since 2013 and will transition into the role of executive chairman upon Deep's appointment. Before becoming company president in 2025, Deep held several senior leadership positions, including executive vice president of Global Operations, executive vice president of Combat Systems, and president of Land Systems.
