This figure represents a 376% increase compared to the A$180.2 million profit recorded during the same period the previous year and exceeded the Visible Alpha consensus estimate of A$840 million.

The fuel retailer attributed the growth to strong margins at its Lytton refinery. The company also cited significant contributions from its fuel and infrastructure segments and its convenience retail operations as primary drivers of the record interim result.
