Instacart Inc. Reports 14% Revenue Growth in Second Quarter
Instacart Inc. reported second-quarter revenue of $1.04 billion and expanded its AI and enterprise technology offerings through new partnerships and acquisitions.
Instacart Inc. reported a 14% increase in revenue to $1.04 billion for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026. Gross transaction value rose 14% to $10.35 billion, while total orders grew 9% to 90.3 million. Despite these gains in sales and advertising revenue, the company saw a 4% decline in net income, which fell to $111 million.
The company is diversifying its business model by expanding AI and enterprise technology services. This strategy includes the acquisition of computer vision firm Arpalus to improve shelf-product data for retailers and a Gemini integration with Google LLC that allows customers to build grocery carts through conversational AI.
Instacart Inc. also established new retail partnerships, including a deal with Costco to provide nationwide delivery for party platters and custom cakes using FoodStorm technology. Looking ahead to the third quarter, the company expects gross transaction value to increase by approximately 14% at the midpoint of its guidance range.
