E3 Lithium and Epsilon CAM Sign Lithium Supply Deal

E3 Lithium signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Epsilon CAM to potentially supply battery-grade lithium carbonate from the Clearwater project in Alberta. Effective September 1, the agreement establishes a framework for the annual supply of up to 5,000 metric tons of lithium carbonate over five years.

This volume represents approximately 40% of the proposed Stage 1 production capacity for E3 Lithium. The partnership connects Canadian lithium resources with Indian downstream production as manufacturers seek to diversify raw material supply chains. Epsilon CAM is currently constructing a cathode materials facility in India with a capacity of 30,000 tonnes per year, with the first phase expected to be complete by early 2028.

Final commercial terms and volumes will be determined as the companies move toward a definitive agreement. Chris Doornbos, CEO of E3 Lithium, stated the agreement "demonstrates a serious interest and draws a clear path from Alberta brine directly into the battery supply chain."
