Lee County Florida Opens Early Voting for Primary Election

Early voting for the 2026 Primary Election begins on August 8 in Lee County, Florida. Registered voters can cast their ballots at 12 designated sites daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through August 15. The primary election will conclude on August 18, with polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Jenna Persons-Mulicka, the Lee County Supervisor of Elections, is managing the process while seeking re-election to her seat. The ballot features several local contests, including the Cape Coral mayoral seat, three City Council seats, three Lee County Board of County Commissioners seats, and four School District of Lee County School Board seats.

Voters have the option to return vote-by-mail ballots via the U.S. Postal Service or at secure intake stations located at early voting sites. Following the primary, the general election is scheduled for November 3, with early voting available from October 19 to 31.
