Punjab BJP Accuses AAP Government of Law and Order Collapse

Punjab BJP President Kewal Singh Dhillon accused the Aam Aadmi Party government of failing to curb violent crime and drug abuse across the state.

Punjab BJP President Kewal Singh Dhillon accused the Aam Aadmi Party government of allowing the state's law and order situation to collapse. Dhillon cited a series of violent incidents as evidence of the failure, including the broad-daylight murder of social media influencer Mad Sandhu in Amritsar, the shooting of former sarpanch Navtej Singh in Ludhiana, and the killing of a young man in Khadur Sahib.

Dhillon alleged that criminals now operate without fear while Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann fails to ensure public safety. He further linked the rise in crime to deepening drug abuse in the state, directly contradicting government claims that Punjab is becoming safer.

These criticisms coincide with an increase in Bharatiya Janata Party outreach activities as the party prepares for the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections.
