Freshworks Agrees to Acquire SaaS Management Platform Torii

Freshworks entered a definitive agreement to acquire Torii to integrate SaaS and AI spending visibility into its Freshservice ITSM offering.

Freshworks entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Torii, a SaaS management platform, to expand its IT Service Management capabilities. The acquisition aims to integrate Torii's visibility into application usage, licenses, and AI consumption directly into Freshservice, the existing ITSM offering from Freshworks.

By combining these tools, Freshworks intends to provide companies with a unified view of their technology inventory and expenditures. Torii specifically allows IT teams to track spending and establish limits on AI tokens, addressing a gap where IT, finance, and security teams often operate with fragmented data.

Dennis Woodside, CEO and President of Freshworks, stated that the addition of Torii extends the company's view to software and AI spend. Torii CEO Uri Haramati noted that the integration removes blind spots for organizational leadership rather than adding more dashboards. The deal is expected to close in the fourth fiscal quarter of 2026, pending customary closing conditions.
