Fintech company Revolut Ltd. has partnered with OpenAI Inc. to integrate ChatGPT Go, a medium-tier AI subscription, into its retail membership plans at no additional cost. The offering provides users with access to the GPT-5.6 model, featuring image generation, document analysis, file uploads, and enhanced usage limits.
Access duration varies by customer tier. Users on the Metal and Ultra plans receive 12 months of access, Premium users receive six months, and Standard users are eligible for a three-month promotional offer. The move allows Revolut Ltd. to expand its non-banking service offerings to 75 million global customers, while OpenAI Inc. leverages the financial platform as a distribution channel to acquire millions of qualified leads.
Executives from both companies described the partnership as a way to reduce fragmented billing and integrate productivity tools into daily routines. The collaboration follows a broader industry trend of packaging artificial intelligence tools into existing consumer memberships to increase user engagement and retention.
